New CEO at Theobald's
Stephen Joseph of Theobald's Distribution
In what may be one of the shortest retirement periods in history, Stephen Joseph, the former managing director of Allied Kingswood, has taken a controlling interest in Kent-based Theobald's Distribution.Joseph had been acting as a consultant to Theobald's since September 2009, but following a substantial investment by him in the company becomes the CEO of Theobald's working with present directors Jamie Gardiner (Operations Director) and Steve Brooks (Sales Director).
"My faith in the company and its staff is such that I was prepared to work with Theobald's on a full time basis. I have made a significant injection of working capital into the company that will enable Theobald's to put its short-term cash flow problems behind them, retain the goodwill of its suppliers, and continue to supply customers as usual.
"I am looking forward to my new role and to working with our suppliers and customers in building on the successful relationships Theobald's already enjoys."
