New MD for Blum UK
Mark Richardson of Blum UK.
Mark Richardson has been appointed managing director of Blum UK following the retirement of Michael Powell.
Richardson has worked at Blum UK since the company was established in 1987 and for 3 years before that as sale office manager with Blum's UK agent.
In 1990 he was appointed to the board as operations director and has been largely instrumental in the successful introduction and development of Blum's technologies and systems into the UK market.
Richardson has also been influential within the team that steered Blum into becoming a leading functional hardware supplier to the UK kitchen and fitted furniture sectors.
With a highly experienced and motivated team around him, along with the recent appointment of David Sanders as sales & marketing director, Richardson's initial focus will be on a seamless transition and the continued improvement of services.
