On to a winner with Croydex and Damixa
Kerry Hopkins wins a Fiat 500.
Kerry Hopkins from Maddisons Bathroom and Wetroom Specialists in York received a real bonus from her visit to kbb Birmingham in March. She was recently drawn as the winner of a brand new car in a competition to celebrate the new alliance between Croydex and Damixa.
Kerry Hopkins, who has worked for Maddisons, a family-run bathroom and wetroom showroom, for one and a half years, was handed the keys to her sparkling white Fiat 500 this month and said she was delighted that her name was drawn as she was in need of a new car. In a real fairy-tale twist to the story, her old car had broken down three times in the last month!
Her name was drawn from a hat of more than 800 entries to the competition, which was launched at KBB 2010 in March to seal the new partnership between Croydex and Damixa.
The prize car was one of the main talking points of the show, parked between the two facing stands and branded with both company logos.
Croydex Managing Director Nick McGrellis and outgoing President of the Bathroom Manufacturers Association Steve Lee picked the winner of the competition last month and Colin Maddison, who runs Maddisons Bathrooms with his wife Sylvia, said he was delighted that a member of his staff scooped the top prize.
The competition certainly grabbed people's attention and we couldn't be more pleased for Kerry who now has a very reliable set of wheels to get her around, all thanks to Croydex and Damixa."
Nick McGrellis, seen here handing over the keys to Kerry Hopkins said: "We're delighted that this wonderful prize has gone to someone for whom it will really make a difference and we hope that Kerry gets lots of enjoyment out of driving her new car.
"Having the car with us at the show certainly helped to draw people to the two stands and really got people engaged with the brands, it couldn't have been a more successful launch."
