Can a Maytag laundry room offer extra business for kitchen retailers?

Kitchens as we know are not getting any larger, so if it is possible to move any appliances out of the kitchen into a different room it would help the situation.

On the continent, washing machines are rarely positioned in the kitchen area and are often found in the bathroom. In the USA it is not uncommon for the washing machine and tumble dryer to have a dedicated laundry cupboard or small room.

Larger UK properties may have a utility room that can be the centre of the home's laundry action.
